Built for Dr. Mostashari by Dan Maynard, Business Librarian

Guidelines for this assignment

Regional Case Study Research Paper & Group Presentation (100 points/10% of your final grade). This is a five page paper, plus a title page, an executive summary, references page, a table of major economic indicators, a table of major trading partners, a figure comprised of a photograph of your group and a figure comprised of a map of your country showing its contiguous neighbors.

The background material and the content of your table of major economic indicators should be based on the Europa World Year Book. Your map should be adapted from the World Factbook. All recommended sources are identified and described in the LibGuide.

The region for this semester is the Middle East. Select one of these countries: Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, or the United Arab Emirate (UAE). All of these countries are listed on the Big Mac Index.

The text of your paper should use the recommended sources, supplemented with your assigned readings, the classroom lectures and discussions, and your own thoughts.

Format your paper in APA style using the template provided in the LibGuide. Format your paper, and document your sources in APA style based on the APA publications manual (seventh edition). Guidance on APA style is provided in the LibGuide.

Your Group Presentation should be informed by your Case Study Research Paper. For example, groups will often present slides using charts constructed from the data in their table to illustrate a point.
