Four Yoga Paths

Krishna describes four types of yoga in the Bhagavad Gita as paths to moksha (spiritual release):

Bhakti yoga - devotion

Jnana yoga - knowledge

Karma yoga - action

Dhyana yoga - concentration - the most commonly linked to yoga as practiced in the west today
