Access to Campbell's Medical Library

Preceptors are clinicians who supervise Campbell medical students during their clinical rotations. To serve as a preceptor, clinicians must have a current faculty appointment. To check on your faculty appointment status, please contact the CUSOM Appointments administrator.

Can preceptors access the medical library's electronic resources?

Preceptors with current faculty appointments are eligible for limited access to Campbell University's electronic library. This is a separate process from appointment and must be initiated by the preceptor. To initiate this process, please complete this form and submit it according to the directions on the form.   Download the form below.

How do I know if I already have access to the medical library?

To determine whether you already have access, check your New Innovations account under Custom Data. If you already have an account, you will see information on lines x and x. If you have forgotten your password and need it reset, please contact the university help desk a Please have your Campbell ID.

What resources can preceptors access? Is UpToDate access included?
