Resident Physician Resources: Apps

This guide conveniently centralizes information resources for resident physicians

AccessMedicine / AccessEmergencyMedicine / AccessPharmacy

Campbell does not have access to AccessMedicine/AccessEmergencyMedicine /AccessPharmacy as "apps". However, they can be used on your mobile device if you bookmark it on your home screen. From your device, use these links to go to the desired product -- AccessMedicine, AccessEmergencyMedicine, or AccessPharmacy.

  1. Save the page to your device's home screen.
  2. Login to AccessMedicine (or AccessEmergencyMedicine or AccessPharmacy) using your CU credentials.
  3. When prompted by your device, choose Save Password (this should prevent you from having to log in each time).
  4. Click the Filter By bar at the bottom and select Content Type.
  5. Select Procedures Consult or Video.

PubMed4Health

Search for PubMed4Hh in your app store. This app enables you to search PubMed by constructing a PICO inquiry.

DynaMed

  1. Follow this link.
  2. Create an account within DynaMed. 
  3. In the top right-hand section of the page click on the picture of the person.
  4. Click on create account.
  5. Fill out the information on the account creation page.
  6. Go to your phone and to your app store and put DynaMed into the search box.
  7. Download the DynaMed app. Do NOT download the DynaMedex app because it won’t be able to verify your username and password.
  8. It will take up to 30 minutes to download and you DO have to be connected to wireless for the whole amount of time.
  9. Once the app has been downloaded, open it and proceed to use it.

ClinicalKey

Campbell does not have access to the Clinical Key app; however, it can be used on your mobile device if you bookmark it on your home screen.  

  1. From your device, follow this link.
  2. Save the page to your home screen.
  3. Login to Clinical Key using your CU credentials.
  4. When prompted by your device, choose Save Password (this should prevent you from having to log in each time).

PubMed Mobile
