What is 3D printing?

3D printing is the process of making a physical object from a digital model. It is also known an addictive manufacturing because the physical model is built up one layer at a time.

Where can I 3D print on Campbell’s campus

The 3D printers are located in the Makerspace on the third floor of Wiggins Memorial Library, located within the Idea Lab. The space is available by reservation only. At the time of your appointment, please go to the Circulation Desk (Wiggins Library 1st floor) and ask a staff member to bring you to the 3rd floor Makerspace.

The Curriculum Materials/Media Center's 3D printer is available to Campbell University students, faculty and staff to make three-dimensional objects in plastic using a design that is uploaded from a digital computer file.
